An established medical practice in Adelaide is seeking an experienced General Practitioner to join their team. This role suits clinicians who value continuity of care, have substantial experience in general practice, and wish to contribute clinically and strategically. Senior GPs have the opportunity to take on leadership responsibilities, mentoring, and clinical oversight within the team. Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive primary care across all age groups, including family medicine, chronic disease management, and preventative health. Conduct thorough patient consultations, develop treatment plans, and manage complex cases. Perform minor procedures, wound care, and skin cancer screening. Provide women’s, men’s, and paediatric health services, including shared antenatal care where applicable. Support patients with mental health concerns, including assessment, care planning, and coordination with external services. Supervise GP registrars and mentor junior medical staff (senior applicants). Collaborate with allied health professionals, specialists, and community services to provide coordinated, high-quality patient care. Contribute to practice development, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical leadership discussions. Position features
Flexible FTE: 2–10 shifts per week (4-hour sessions), with full-time options available. Senior/lead GP pathway for experienced clinicians seeking additional responsibilities.
