Job Description
This role involves providing administrative support to site managers and project managers, ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects. Key responsibilities include:
* Managing contracts, including claims, variations, and extensions of time
* Administering subcontracts, including claim assessment and negotiation with subcontractors and suppliers
* Preparing documentation for procurement, including tender analysis and recommendations
* Liaising with site staff and monitoring progress
* Providing regular status updates to project managers
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar administrative capacity
* Tertiary qualifications in Building, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field
* Strong knowledge of contracts and negotiation skills
* Ability to interpret design documents and manage multiple tasks efficiently
