Key Responsibilities
* Provide updates to the Management team regarding tender preparation and submissions
* Define project scope and establish precise terms and conditions
* Organize and manage subcontractors and suppliers necessary for tender submissions
* Solicit quotations for required materials and services
* Conduct precise material assessments
* Demonstrate strong prioritization, time management, and problem-solving skills
* Accurately estimate labor hours, mobilization and demobilization expenses, and equipment needed for project execution
* Aid in construction scheduling and planning as needed
* Compile material assessments and project costs into organized spreadsheets or databases
* Participate in tender reviews with senior management and adjust cost estimates accordingly
Experience Required
* Previous experience as an Estimator within the civil construction industry
* Tertiary qualification in Engineering, QS or similar is preferred but not essential.
* Experience using Expert Estimator is highly desired
* Experience in reading and interpreting drawings and plans
* Well-developed communication skills
* Strong commercial acumen
