About the Role
">
* Reporting to the Procurements and Contracts Coordinator, we are seeking 2 highly motivated individuals who can bring their skills and experience for developing and maintaining positive and collaborative working relationships with internal service units, contractors and other external stakeholders involved in the tendering, RFQ and contract process.
* Ensuring procurement processes, procedures and templates are understood and utilised by Council staff.
* Communicate procurement processes, services, policies, systems and procedures to stakeholders.
* Promote high standards of probity, transparency, accountability and risk management in all procurement activities and ensure these standards are maintained.
* Develop and undertake training programs and ongoing advice for staff in relation to tendering, contracts and contract management.
About You
">
* You will have local government experience and understanding of the fundamental principles of procurement.
* Facilitation of the tendering process
* Experience in stakeholder engagement.
* High level of customer service
* Ability to ensure procurement aligns with Council's Procurement Policy
