GRIT is working with a national health and aged care provider is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale, enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. This is a senior opportunity for a strategic leader with a strong delivery record across complex portfolios, spanning technology, people, and business outcomes.
The role sits within a national Digital & Technology division and leads multidisciplinary teams to shape, implement, and govern programs that support organisational goals, future-proofing healthcare delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee multi-year transformation programs with end-to-end accountability for delivery, governance, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement
* Lead cross-functional teams (PMs, BAs, Change, Tech) and manage vendor delivery partners
* Drive program strategy, roadmap development, milestone tracking, and business case realisation
* Govern vendor and commercial activities including contract negotiation, onboarding, and service transition
* Monitor program risk, performance, compliance, and assurance reporting to Executive Steering Committees
What You'll Bring
* 10+ years in program leadership, delivering enterprise-wide transformation portfolios ($20M+ in combined budgets)
* Strong capability in governance, financial oversight, vendor negotiation and contract management
* Proven experience leading multi-stream project environments with matrixed stakeholder groups
* High-level communication, reporting, and engagement skills with executive and board stakeholders
* Expert-level knowledge of structured delivery frameworks: MSP, Agile, PRINCE2, or PMI/PMP
* Tertiary qualifications in Business, IT, or relevant field
* Desirable: Healthcare, aged care, or regulated sector experience
