The Role
The Administration Trainee will assist the Business Support Staff, Management, and Supervisory Staff by providing general administrative support and customer service in a timely manner, while completing their traineeship in Administration.
The role involves attending to telephone and counter inquiries, various data entry tasks, customer service requests, purchase orders and invoices, updating reports, preparing agendas, taking minutes for meetings, inputting timesheet data for payroll, and carrying out other tasks as required.
Key Selection Criteria
* Interest or understanding in providing customer service, specifically incorporating organizational skills.
* Basic numeracy and literacy skills, as well as knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to communicate with a broad range of people and work as part of a team.
* Knowledge and understanding of health and safety issues relevant to work activities and the work area.
