Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead our structural engineering team in Canberra. As a leading engineering consultancy, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality designs for a wide range of projects.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, with excellent technical skills and a great work ethic. They will thrive in a dynamic team environment, working collaboratively with clients, directors, engineers, and technicians to develop projects from conceptual design through to construction.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop project requirements in collaboration with clients
* Lead teams of engineers and draftspersons to deliver projects on time and budget
* Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of relevant design codes and first principles underpinning the work we do
* Provide exceptional engineering analysis skills, including experience with RAPT, RAM Concept, Bentley suite, SpaceGASS, Strand, Excel, Word, and Outlook
* Manage deadlines and prioritize tasks to ensure project success

Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
* Chartered Member of Engineers Australia
* 8 years post-graduate experience in the Australian market as a guide
* Comprehensive knowledge of relevant design codes and first principles underpinning the work we do
* Excellent engineering analysis skills
* Experience with post-tensioned concrete design
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Project management skills
