You will make a difference to our residents by facilitating positive health and well-being options for individuals, their families, and carers.Provision of a wide range of Person-Centred Care dutiesAssistance with medication (if you are assessed as medication competent) and wound dressingAssistance in daily living activitiesWorking with each resident to continue to do the things they loveWe are also willing to invest in training and offer you all the support you might need to succeed in your role.What you will need:Certificate III in Aged Care Support or be actively working towards obtaining this qualification.Knowledge of contemporary regulatory requirements related to Aged Care.Demonstrated ability and experience in identifying and meeting resident care needs using a holistic approach and having priority regard for the resident and the person responsible.Should possess tolerance, patience and empathy for residents and their needs.Understands the process of Continuous Quality Improvement, Work, Health & Safety and Infection Prevention and Control.Possess good levels of written and oral communication and numeracy skills.Demonstrates ability to work both independently and within a team-oriented team environment and shows a high level of attention to detail.Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise work according to strict guidelines.Why work for usCompetitive pay with salary packaging options (up to $15,900 living expenses and $2,650 entertainment benefits, tax-free)Access to a Wellness Program and Employee Assistance ProgramRetention bonus for permanent appointmentsSupportive and friendly work environmentFlexible working arrangements for a great work/life balanceOngoing workplace education and supportMake a real difference to your community and residents' lives!
