Opportunity
An opening now exists for an Intermediate Accountant to join their growing team. You will work closely with Managers and Partners on a mix of compliance and advisory work, with the opportunity to take ownership of client relationships and develop your technical and commercial skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare financial statements, tax returns, BAS, and FBT for a range of entities.
* Assist in tax planning, budgeting, and business advisory projects.
* Work directly with clients, building trusted and long-term relationships.
* Collaborate with the senior team on process improvements and client strategies.
* Stay up to date with legislative and software developments.
About You
* Degree qualified in Accounting, Commerce, or similar.
* Commenced or near completion of CA/CPA qualification.
* 2 - 4 years experience in public practice accounting.
* Sound knowledge of tax compliance and accounting standards.
* Strong communication skills and a proactive, client-first attitude.
* Experience with Xero and cloud-based systems will be highly regarded.
