Seeking a surveyor capable to work independently on a large earthworks project in the NT- performing all field and office works with limited supervision.
The Surveyor will need to conform to a 3 week on / 1 week off roster, working 12 hour shifts. Travel time from Darwin will be paid time. Interstate travel will be covered from any major center, but required to be completed in your own time (unpaid).
The position requires an experienced and capable surveyor who can manage their own workload, liaise with the client and perform the following tasks;
Survey Field Works utilising Trimble RTK & Mavic Enterprise UAV systems
* Conformance surveys utilising
* Setouts of design; elevations and offsets.
* Setup or check offsets and lane guidance on Trimble GCS900
Using 12D Software
* Generate pavement reports, tins and exporting TTMs.
* Import supplied design data and check against IFC drawings
* Calculate/modify designs from a given alignment or design strings
* Basic plotting of foundation survey reports
* Prepare controller uploads of designs
* Translate design linework and tins to match machine guidance vertical datum
* Export 12da files of machine guidance data for use in TBC
* Maintaining 12d master files
* Storage calculations
* Stockpile volume calculations
* Lot Charts
* Monthly Construction reports (section plotting, heatmaps, multipage plotting, buttress volume reconciliation).
* Basic design and conceptual design creation for investigations
* Using TBC to create new projects and import machine guidance design data
* Using Pix4D to add photos, re-optimize GCP's and create point cloud
* Using Global Mapper to create contours from supplied las files
