ABOUT THE ROLE
Repairhub is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join our Head Office team in Banyo, QLD. This position is full-time, on a
12 Month Contract
. Working closely with our Finance Manager and wider Finance team, you'll support the delivery of accurate monthly accounts, financial statements, and smooth day-to-day financial operations.
Key duties include:
Processing journals and supporting month-end tasks, including Balance Sheet reconciliations
Assisting with reporting, statutory compliance, BAS/IAS lodgements, and maintaining Fixed Asset Registers
Monitoring daily cash flow, preparing monthly forecasts, and completing ABS survey requirements
Providing aged payables/receivables reports and other ad-hoc financial reporting
Supporting Finance projects and assisting the Admin team with remittances, invoices, receipts, credit notes, and reconciliations when required
Collaborating with the wider team on daily operational tasks
ABOUT YOU:
The ideal candidate will be studying or qualified in Accounting, Economics, or Mathematics, with strong accuracy in financial reporting, excellent attention to detail, and the discretion to handle confidential information. They must be able to meet strict deadlines, prioritise effectively, and maintain a highly organised, methodical approach to their work.
