The Role
Reporting to the Senior Food Technologist, you will play a key role in maintaining product compliance, supporting documentation, and working closely with suppliers, internal technical teams and customers.
Responsibilities include:
* Maintaining and updating product documentation (PIFs, SDS, specifications, certifications)
* Conducting regulatory checks across domestic requirements (FSANZ) and supporting TGA, Halal, Kosher, Organic and export-related compliance
* Working cross-functionally with Food Tech, Sales, Customer Service and Operations
* Managing ingredient information and liaising assertively with suppliers to obtain required regulatory data
* Supporting SQF-related regulatory tasks
* Assisting with sampling, lab support and documentation
* Staying across regulatory changes and updating internal systems accordingly
* Supporting team projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Your Background
In order to be successful in this role, you will:
* Experienced in Regulatory Affairs within food, ingredients or flavour manufacturing
* Confident working with PIFs, STS, specifications and compliance documentation
* Comfortable communicating confidently with external stakeholders
* Knowledgeable in food regulations (FSANZ, certifications, labelling, ingredient rules)
* Collaborative, down-to-earth and ready to contribute in any way possible
