The Head of Sales will develop a high-performing sales and marketing team, while continuing to develop engaging brands and experiences with consumers. This person will be responsible for maintaining key relationships with internal stakeholders as well as national accounts and domestic wholesalers, developing state/country-based sales targets and identifying key sales strategies and marketing KPIs.
This is a full time position that is ideal for a career-driven individual with exceptional proven leadership as this role will develop over the short term into the General Manager.

**Key Role responsibilities**:
- Sales and Marketing Strategic Planning
- Delivery of forecasts & Sales and Marketing KPIs
- Trade Marketing, Community Activations and Brand Development
- Team Leadership, Culture and Capability
- Systems and Process Improvement
- Wholesale experience to include P&L, margin pricing and trade marketing.
- Lead the development and execution of annual sales/ marketing plans and budgets
- Manage operations in the sales team
- Lead key discussions and negotiations with key customers
- Provide representation as a key trade-facing person with national customers
- Manage day-to-day commercial risk including review of key trading agreements
- Execution of annual marketing brand plans
- Develop and execute event and community engagement strategy
- Lead monthly business performance and cultural meetings with cross functional team
- Review and refine the information systems strategy for the measurement of relevant KPIs
- Review and assess customer service systems and processes
- Lead the key internal review and related business improvement projects
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- A tertiary qualification or hands-on service experience coupled with a comprehensive working knowledge of P&L and balance sheets in order to set relevant costing and budgets
- Strong leadership experience
- Wholesale experience highly regarded
- Significant experience in successfully developing customer relationships and generating business within a relationship-driven market
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong excel skills
