The Role
We are seeking a Draftsperson - Cabinet Making that is creative, intuitive and a confident generator of new ideas. The role requires you to use instinct, curiosity and integrative thinking to solve real problems with infectious enthusiasm. In this role, you will be responsible for drafting cabinetry designs, processing jobs for production, and ensuring seamless communication between clients and our manufacturing team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting of cabinetry from initial design to final production
- Processing work for production through various software packages
- Designing and assisting in the design of cabinets, including product development
- Liaising with clients, including cabinet makers, builders, and tradespeople, to finalize orders and address any questions or issues
- Ensuring designs are ready for machining on CNC
- Ordering materials and hardware for jobs
- Communicating with the shop floor regarding design and manufacturing queries
- Increasing productivity and efficiency of the drafting processes
About You
We are looking for a proactive and experienced individual with an infectious enthusiasm for cabinetry and design. The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a drafting role within the cabinet making industry
- Ability to read and work from plans with a strong focus on detail
- Problem-solving skills with a growth mindset
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members
- Commitment to smart working, continuous improvement, and personal success
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles is favourable
