Some of the main tasks include: ensure all resident clothing is labelled; soiled clothing is prepared and sorted clothing is put through the washing and drying cycle; items requiring repair are attended to; clean clothes are pressed, folded and sorted; sorted clothing is returned to residentEnsure all laundry equipment is regularly maintained according to manufacturer's instructions and in liaison with the Maintenance Officer/ManagerParticipate in, and contribute to, quality improvement programs and other organisational initiatives to improve laundry services and meet accreditation standards e.g. Quality Management System.About YouExperienced working in Community Care, Home Care or Residential (highly desired)Current COVID-19 vaccinations and Flu immunisation up to date (highly desired)Shows empathy with the elderlyPrevious experience as Laundry Assistant in aged care (highly desired)NDIS ClearanceWhy Benetas?
