**In a nutshell**
Join our growing sales team in supporting and nurturing our property sector customers to purchase the Neighbourlytics products that are right for them.
**Why you might love working with us**
A small team with big ambitions, we believe that social data can help us build cities where people thrive.
- We help the property sector (urban planners, developers, local councils and governments) to better understand communities.
- We gather human behavioural data to reveal how neighbourhoods are used and experienced.
We develop innovative ways to analyse that data to uncover insights, and our customers then use what they've learned to make better decisions about how to design, build and improve neighbourhoods.
**Why we need you**
We have spent the last few years creating and consolidating a really solid product. We're proud of how far we've come and we're excited to go even further, so we're growing the team. As we enter a stage of growth, we need someone who is excited to grow with us, and who can build brilliant relationships and with our customers to keep up with growing demand.
We are looking for a Strategic Account Executive who will play a critical role and responsibility in delivering new client acquisition while also ensuring successful relationships and revenue growth with existing customers. This role must understand customers' business needs and take a consultative approach in handling aspects of the sales cycle to include proposal development and product demonstrations.
If you're interested in making a difference across the property sector and keen to bring your passion for all things sales development to grow with us - we can't wait to get to know you!
**How we work**
We have an awesome office in North Melbourne. We like to work on being effective and getting the important things done, not on counting our hours or putting in facetime. We really care about delivering for our clients, so we flex our schedules to get the job done. We also care about our families and personal lives, so we flex for that stuff too by providing remote and hybrid work options so you can get the balance right.
We're not your average tech company - our leadership team is 70% women (including our co-founders), we're purpose driven and our founders are internationally recognised thought leaders in the place-making industry. We're not into flashy perks like beer taps, table tennis or beanbags - instead we focus on having great people who care about each other, and about getting great work out into the world.
If you're driven to work with a team that cares, on problems that matter, we'd love to hear from you.
**Who you are**
- You have experience in consulting, customer success, account management, or another client-facing role in the property sector. You bring a "hunter" mindset to all market and sales opportunities - you've owned the entire sales cycle from initial discovery to close.
- You have excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to manage complex relationships and sales. Experience preparing or managing tenders is a bonus.
- You have excellent listening and communication skills (both verbal and written), in addition to proven ability engaging with C-Level executives
- With a love for process (and possibly Hubspot), you enjoy looking at how systems can be improved for efficiency and better outcomes.
- You're excited to combine your skills in consulting or relationship management with our expertise in technology and analytics to help the property sector make better decisions.
- You can be counted on for making sure nothing gets missed, and your attention to detail means your colleagues can rely on you.
- You love being part of a team and are happiest collaborating with others, especially cross-functionally.
- You're always open to both receiving and giving feedback and value perspectives that might not agree with yours.
- You possess a self-starter attitude and strong work ethic, with the ability to adapt to rapidly changing and ambiguous environments.
You have an ability to develop strong, long-term relationships by following appropriate sales methodology and using a hands-on, customer centric approach.
**Picture yourself in the role**
Working in a cross functional team, you'll play a key role in lead generating and assisting our customers so they can get the best insights from our data. From sales enquiry through to taking action, you'll guide them through product selection, purchasing, using the platform and understanding their needs as they seek to use Neighbourlytics unique data insights to build better cities.
