We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a concrete waste plant Picker.
As a Picker, your primary responsibility will be to identify and remove non-concrete materials from the waste stream on our sorting belts, ensuring efficient and sustainable waste management practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sort through the waste materials on conveyor belts to accurately identify and remove non-concrete items (e.g., wood, plastics, metal, etc.).
* Ensure proper material disposal by placing them in designated containers.
* Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the plant, adhering to established health and safety guidelines.
* Monitor conveyor belts for potential issues or blockages, reporting any findings to the supervisor.
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
* Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality control and prevent contamination of the concrete recycling process.
