Financial Accountant – Year-End Contract Opportunities
We are currently partnering with a range of organisations across Perth to connect with experienced Financial Accountants to support upcoming year-end reporting and close activities.
These contract opportunities are ideal for immediately available professionals who are confident stepping into fast-paced environments and delivering high-quality outputs from day one.
About the Opportunities
You will work across a variety of organisations supporting month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting.
These are hands‐on roles where you will be trusted to take ownership of key accounting tasks, work closely with finance teams, and support audit readiness during critical reporting periods.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
* Prepare statutory financial statements in line with AASB/IFRS
* Support external audit processes and liaise with auditors
* Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
* Prepare journals, accruals, and end‐of‐period adjustments
* Assist with BAS, tax, and compliance reporting
* Support consolidations (where applicable)
* Ensure adherence to reporting deadlines and internal controls
* Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting support
About You
* CA/CPA qualified or near completion
* Strong experience in financial accounting with proven year‐end exposure
* Solid understanding of AASB/IFRS standards
* Advanced Excel skills
* Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, MYOB, etc.)
* High attention to detail and strong time management skills
* Able to quickly adapt to new systems and environments
* Available immediately or at short notice
