Overview
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school team. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students in a subject that is vital for the modern world, equipping them with the digital and problem-solving skills needed for future success. Duties
* Planning and delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 if applicable)
* Teaching key topics such as programming, algorithms, data representation, networks, and cybersecurity
* Preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations, ensuring high levels of progress and achievement
* Encouraging creativity, innovation, and resilience through project-based learning and practical tasks
* Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, providing effective feedback and support
* Contributing to the wider school community, including extracurricular clubs such as coding or robotics
Ideal Candidate
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Have experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level
* Be passionate about technology and able to engage students of all abilities
* Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills as a Computer Science Teacher
* Be adaptable, innovative, and committed to raising achievement in computing
