About The Role
We are seeking a Rural Products Sales Representative to join our close-knit Bangalow team on a permanent full-time basis. You will provide rural products advice to the local community, working across our merchandise store and delivering products to clients.
Working closely with the wider branch team, you will provide customers with technical and product advice on animal health and horticultural products. Your rural product knowledge and passion for delivering exceptional customer service will help you build strong relationships with clients and identify new product opportunities. Supported by the Elders network, you will have the tools necessary to grow in your career.
Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional customer service and accurate product knowledge in-store, on farm, and over the phone.
* Maintain the organisation and tidiness of the Rural Products store.
* Manage stock levels, ensure accurate inventory records, and optimise product availability.
* Accurately quote and process customer orders, ensuring timely delivery and invoicing.
* Implement effective stock control measures, including regular stock takes and rotation.
* Assist with storage, handling, receiving, and dispatching of stock.
About You
To succeed at Elders, you should have:
* Previous experience in a retail environment, preferably with agricultural products.
* A strong understanding of agricultural seasonal fluctuations, products, and market trends.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems.
* A current driver’s license, forklift license, and Agsafe accreditation (or willingness to obtain).
* A passion for providing high-quality customer service and strong communication skills.
