Are you looking for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a Learning & Development Manager to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT which is 20 min drive from Uluru, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks.
The Role
We’re seeking an experienced and hands-on Learning & Development Manager to lead and deliver learning across Ayers Rock Resort.
Reporting to the Director of People & Culture, this role is responsible for shaping, coordinating, and embedding learning frameworks that support a large, operational workforce.
You will lead resort-wide training delivery, manage systems and external providers, and ensure learning initiatives align with business needs, compliance requirements, budget expectations, and employee development aspirations in a dynamic hospitality environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead and implement the Learning & Development Strategy for Ayers Rock ResortOversee delivery of internal and external training across all departmentsOwn and continuously improve Ayers Rock Resort Orientation ProgramManage the VLearn (LMS) platform, ensuring accurate records, reporting and compliancePartner with leaders to identify training needs and develop practical learning solutionsPlan and manage the monthly training calendar, including logistics and coordinationManage external training providers and training budgetsLead and support the Learning & Development team
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in a Learning & Development Manager role within hospitality or a large, complex organisationStrong stakeholder management and influencing capabilityExperience delivering training to diverse employee groups at scaleHigh attention to detail with strong systems and administration skillsComfortable operating in a fast-paced, operational environmentA collaborative leader with a genuine passion for developing people
