We are seeking an experienced operations leader to drive growth in our retail store role.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement strategies to build the capabilities of our branch network in terms of sales and operations
* Manage sales and inventory performance, including aged inventory, stock turns and debtor arrangements
* Assist with the development and implementation of our retail strategy; including key sales campaigns and activities
* Identify new growth opportunities and build strong relationships with customers and industry partners
* Manage staffing requirements, including recruitment, rostering, training and performance management
* Build and maintain relationships with key clients to understand their needs and support sales staff as needed
* Plan and drive marketing of our services and products and play an active role in campaigns, field days, client nights and community events
About You:
* Experience leading dynamic sales teams and understanding of the equine, pet and/or rural industry
* Strong business and financial acumen with ability to interpret and prepare profit and loss reports
* Passion for building strong relationships, internally and externally, creating a positive and collaborative team environment
* Team player with great communication skills and a collaborative approach
* Demonstrated experience as a people leader with ability to upskill and coach
