We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full Time Healthcare Professional to join our team at Clarence Correctional Centre. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to provide primary care to custodial patients, promoting their health and wellbeing.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting assessments, creating and implementing individualized health plans, and working collaboratively with correctional staff to deliver holistic and integrated patient-centered health services.
* Promote the rehabilitation and reintegration of inmates.
* Ensure the safety and security of inmates.
* Foster a high standard of practice to facilitate safe healthcare delivery.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:
* A current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* A minimum of 2-year full-time post-graduate experience (or part-time equivalent).
* Experience in primary health, rural health, or emergency nursing is highly desirable.
