Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Control
* Lead month-end close activities including journals, reconciliations, and reporting
* Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring timely resolution of variances
* Support statutory reporting and year-end financial statements (IFRS & US GAAP)
* Deliver insightful analysis across COGS, freight, warehousing, and operating expenses
Audit & Compliance
* Act as a key contact for external and internal audits
* Ensure SOX compliance and maintain a strong internal control environment
* Partner with global shared services teams to ensure reporting accuracy and timeliness
Taxation
* Manage BAS, GST, FBT, PAYG and withholding tax obligations
* Support tax reporting and liaise with external advisors and tax authorities
* Assist with transfer pricing and broader tax compliance requirements
Business Partnering & Projects
* Partner with finance and operational teams on forecasting and budgeting
* Drive continuous improvement across finance processes and reporting
* Contribute to system, reporting, and process optimisation initiatives
About You
* CA qualified with 5-7+ years' experience in a big 4 or mid‐tier chartered accounting firm (either audit or business services)
* Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS/US GAAP exposure ideal)
* Exposure to tax compliance in Australia
* Advanced Excel skills and experience navigating SAP or similar tier 1 ERP systems
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and partner with the business
* Proactive, detail‐oriented, and solutions‐focused mindset
