Overview
This is a partner-level opportunity to shape and operate a new restaurant concept from the ground up. The General Manager will work alongside ownership from pre-opening through to long-term operation, with autonomy across strategy, people, and performance. You will be instrumental in building the business – not just running it.
Client Profile
Our client is a privately owned, premium estate in Western Australia's Swan Valley, preparing to relaunch a landmark hospitality venue under new leadership. The property combines scale, heritage and destination appeal, offering a rare platform to create a leading food and beverage experience with enduring relevance.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with ownership to finalise and execute the venue concept
* Lead pre-opening planning including systems, team, and supplier engagement
* Oversee full operational management and guest experience delivery
* Drive financial outcomes through cost control, revenue growth and margin optimisation
* Establish a high-performance team and culture
Candidate Profile
You are a senior hospitality leader with a strong General Manager background and a record of success in high-volume, quality-driven venues. You thrive on responsibility, think commercially, and act with an owner's mindset.
Requirements
* Experience leading new or repositioned venues from concept to launch
* Strength in team building, service culture and financial performance
* Strategic thinking and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach
* High standards, strong communications skills, and a deep understanding of hospitality operations
* Motivation to build something meaningful and long-term
* Prior experience in culinary roles is highly regarded
