This is a contract role for a HR Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for all day-to-day HR queries, providing essential support to both employees and business leaders. You will handle a variety of responsibilities, from managing employee relations cases to supporting the implementation of key people strategies. This role is perfect for a self-starter who enjoys a dynamic environment and is eager to contribute to a collaborative HR function.
* Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day HR queries from business leaders and employees.
* Manage low to medium-level employee relations cases, including performance management, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
* Provide coaching and support to leaders on managing employee issues effectively.
* Support HR Business Partners and the HR Manager in implementing people strategies that are aligned with our business goals.
* Review employment contracts and letters before they are distributed.
Based on your skills and capability, you'll also have the opportunity to get involved in a range of projects, including:
* The launch of a new intranet and updating its content.
* Reviewing and updating company policies and procedures.
* Creating HR reports, primarily using Excel.
* Preparing for and supporting the employee engagement survey.
The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in human resources, with experience in managing employee relations cases. You should be an excellent communicator, highly organized, and have a proactive approach to your work. A strong understanding of employment law and a passion for people will be key to your success in this role.
