Occupational Therapist Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced occupational therapist to deliver high-quality, evidence-based allied health care across a multidisciplinary team in a fee-for-service environment.
The successful candidate will join our community Allied Health Service (CAHS) in Albany, working with clients and their families to develop tailored plans that meet their diverse needs.
About the Job
As part of our CAHS team, you'll be responsible for:
* Delivering occupational therapy services to children and adults through NDIS programs and fee-for-service work.
* Planning and implementing occupational therapy intervention for a selected caseload using a range of service delivery models.
* Communicating effectively with clients, family and community participants to ensure optimal outcomes.
* Liaising with stakeholders, such as state and non-government organisations, plus other allied health professionals for coordinated continuous client care.
Responsibilities
This is a full-time position (76 hours per fortnight), with some travel required within the Lower Great Southern region. You'll be working as part of a supportive, professional, and growth-oriented team that makes a real difference in the lives of our clients.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy and eligibility for registration by the Occupational Therapy board of Australia.
* Proven ability to apply evidence-based principles of clinical assessment and intervention knowledge to individual and/or group client management in a primary health care setting.
* Sound understanding and knowledge of primary health care in regional Western Australia.
* Knowledge and understanding of NDIS & reporting requirements.
* Ability to function effectively as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
* Demonstrated high level of written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to obtain a WWCC, NDIS Clearance, NPC and current a valid drivers' licence.
