About The Role
The CSSD driver/Sterile Stock Assistant will support the transport of reusable medical devices between the main perioperative complex and the day surgery. This role will involve driving a Calvary vehicle to deliver road carts containing equipment between the sites. The role will also provide support and assistance to the sterile stock team.
Your main duties will include:
* Driving stock between the main hospital and the surgicentre
* Collecting or delivering equipment to Wagga Wagga Base Hospital or surrounding sites
* Assistance with theatre set up and sterile stock management
* Comply with state and federal laws associated with use of a motor vehicle
About You
* NSW Driver licence, minimum P2, with evidence of safe driving record.
* NSW Police record check and Working with Children check
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Demonstrated contribution to teamwork and quality and safety initiatives
