About the role: The Youth Team Coordinator at Yarrow Place leads the delivery of intensive therapeutic care for young people in the ITC and My Place programs.
This role involves coordinating outreach services, providing clinical supervision, fostering stakeholder relationships, and supporting staff development.
The position focuses on continuous service improvements and creating a positive, supportive team culture.
Key duties of the role Provide high-quality clinical supervision and support to youth team staff, ensuring effective service delivery.
Lead the development, evaluation, and continuous improvement of intensive therapeutic care and support services for at-risk young people.
Develop and implement evidence-based training programs in collaboration with key stakeholders, ensuring staff development aligns with best practice standards.
Ensure a positive, collaborative team environment that promotes safety, learning, innovation, and adherence to professional and legislative standards.
Skills and Experience Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers Demonstrated skills in the administration, management, supervision and delivery of social work services and staff.
Advanced interpersonal, communication and conflict management skills, including the ability to foster productive working relationships across disciplines and contribute positively to a multi-disciplinary team environment.
Leading and managing a multi-disciplinary team, within a health, child protection or human services setting, to maximise individual and team performance in a changing environment, including providing education and training.
