Job Description
* Investigate hydraulic or mechanical faults.
* Inspect on‑hire and off‑hire equipment.
* Attend to breakdowns.
* Build and maintain positive customer relationships, provide service and support during field visits, comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations.
* Coach and mentor technical teams.
* Carry out machine audits and produce detailed reports of equipment condition promptly.
* Coordinate with logistics on consignment stocks in the warehouse to maintain accurate stock values.
* Perform machine audits, scan preventive maintenance, planned component replacements, fault diagnostics and repairs.
* Order spares.
Experience with construction equipment such as compactor, rollers, IT units, loaders, moxy, GPS graders, water trucks, cat, Komatsu, Hitachi, Bomag, Isuzu, Hino is required.
