* Salary: WHA4 $1,128.60- $1,140.30 per week (pro rata)
WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?
Kapunda Homes is seeking caring and dedicated Direct Care Attendants to join our residential aged care team. In this rewarding role, you will provide hands-on support and compassionate care to residents, helping them maintain comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
Working as part of a supportive and collaborative team, you will contribute to daily living assistance, wellbeing programs, and diversional therapy activities while also maintaining accurate records and supporting the smooth operation of the care home. With multiple ongoing part-time opportunities available, this role offers flexibility, stability, and the chance to make a meaningful difference every day.

Kapunda is a historic town located in South Australia's picturesque Barossa region, approximately 80 kilometres north of Adelaide. Known as Australia's oldest mining town, Kapunda has a rich heritage rooted in copper mining and colonial history. Today, it's a thriving rural community that blends charming country living with access to modern amenities.
HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?
* Provide respectful, person-centred care that supports residents' daily living, comfort, and wellbeing.
* Assist in delivering diversional therapy activities and wellbeing programs for individuals and groups.
* Accurately record observations, complete routine documentation, and follow established procedures.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents and staff.
WHAT WILL WE OFFER YOU IN RETURN?
* Relocation financial support may be negotiated, subject to eligibility.

WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED TO KNOW/WHAT IS ESSENTIAL FOR SUCCESS?
* You will need to be immunised.
* You will need to undergo employment screening.
* You will be required to have completed AQF Certificate III relevant to the position.
