Digital-Solutions-Designer-August-2025
The City of Burnside is one of Adelaide's most attractive and historic residential areas. Due to Parental Leave, we are seeking an energetic and motivated team player to join the IT team as the Digital Solutions Designer.
About the Role
As the Digital Solutions Designer, you'll be continuing the enhancements and administration of the intranet (SharePoint Online), Council websites and other web-based applications streamlining business processes facilitating continuous improvement across the organisation. Your expertise with designing for various publications, external websites, and events will be instrumental with supporting Council initiatives throughout the year. Key initiatives will include digitisation of processes in B Hive (intranet) using Nintex Forms and Workflows, Annual Local Native Plant Giveaway using WordPress, and leading the creation of the library subsite in OpenCities, just to name a few
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and administer intranet/B Hive applications utilising SharePoint, Nintex, DocuSign etc.
* Develop and support website initiatives and provide expert advice to the organisation.
* Review and assist with web publications, events, Canva templates.
* Provide graphic design support or advice.
* Oversee the administration of online engagement tools and social media platforms.
* Provide quality helpdesk support, working with the wider IT team and our vendors.
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in general IT, SharePoint, OpenCities, Nintex or alternate process automation platforms.
* Previous experience in graphic design, image editing, web design and web development.
* Experience with managing small to medium projects, gathering user requirements, and turning them into long-term digital solutions.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* A team player with a can-do attitude and a passion for helping others.
The role is offered as a fixed term contract to end-September 2026, full-time, classified at Level 5 under the City of Burnside Administration Employees Enterprise Agreement 2023.
