Job Description
1. Lead project management commissions and oversee end-to-end service delivery.
2. Integrate data from scope, estimating, planning, and risk disciplines to establish a baseline cost profile at the control account level, then summarize and assess at project and programme levels.
3. Conduct periodic assessments of Value of Work Done (VOWD) in collaboration with project managers, based on contractor payment applications, accrued costs, and forecasts from Tier 1 contractors and suppliers.
4. Ensure commitments and actual costs are accurately and consistently captured from financial and procurement systems.
5. Provide a fully time-phased Estimate to Complete (ETC), integrating data from project managers, and calculate the Estimate at Completion (EAC) based on trends, change status, VOWD, and ETC.
6. Analyze variances between baseline, actual, earned, and forecast costs during periodic reviews.
7. Produce executive monthly cost reports using standard formats and facilitate monthly cost control review meetings.
8. Act as point of escalation and maintain regular communication regarding the performance of the Project Controls & Cost Management team.
Qualifications
* Recognized degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar.
* Solid experience in cost planning and contract administration.
* At least 3 years of experience in cost management roles, preferably in consultancy.
* Experience managing clients, contractors, and consultants directly.
* Preferably RICS and AIQS accredited.
* Experience with CostX software is a plus.
* High proficiency in MS Excel.
* Valid driving license required.
