Dental Assistant - Dr Chau Dental Surgeons, Hobart
Are you a caring and motivated Dental Assistant looking for a role where you'll feel valued and supported? Dr Chau Dental Surgeons is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our friendly, well-established practice. While this is a full-time position, we're open to part-time arrangements for the right candidate.
The successful candidate must be able to cover both practice locations:
* Hobart: 149 Macquarie Street, Hobart, TAS, 7000
* Rosny Park: 26 Bayfield Street, Rosny Park, TAS, 7018
Job Description
As a Dental Assistant, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include chairside assisting, patient care and comfort, infection control, and helping ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
Your Role Will Involve:
* Assisting dentists and dental hygienists in a variety of treatment procedures.
* Setting up and sterilising dental instruments and equipment.
* Managing patient care, from providing instructions to ensuring comfort.
* Contributing to the maintenance of health and safety standards.
Qualifications
What we are looking for:
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to empathise and connect with patients.
* Strong time management and high attention to detail.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in computer systems and software.
