Project Engineer Nowra, NSW 2-year project Defence aviation project Tier 1 builder background preferred A Project Engineer is required for a major Defence aviation project based in Nowra, NSW. This is a long-term opportunity working on a specialist facility connected to helicopter training operations. The project will suit a Project Engineer with strong building delivery experience, ideally gained with a Tier 1 or established Tier 2 contractor. You will support the site and project team across procurement, RFIs, QA, subcontractor coordination, design coordination, reporting and delivery tracking. The role requires someone organised, technically capable and comfortable working in a structured project environment. The role You will be responsible for: Coordinating subcontractors and site activities Managing RFIs, technical queries and project documentation Supporting procurement and package management Reviewing drawings, specifications and scopes Managing QA, ITPs, defects and compliance records Working closely with the Project Manager and Site Manager Supporting programme, cost and reporting requirements Helping deliver works safely, accurately and to programme About you You will ideally have: Previous experience as a Project Engineer or strong Site Engineer Tier 1 builder experience preferred Defence, aviation, secure facility or government project experience highly regarded Strong QA, RFIs, procurement and subcontractor coordination experience Good communication skills and attention to detail Ability to work in Nowra for the duration of the project Construction Management, Engineering or related qualification The opportunity This is a strong long-term role on a high-profile Defence project with a stable 2-year programme.
