You are a talented Financial Reporting Lead who takes pride in ownership of financial reporting functions. You're self‐managed and take pride in delivering timely, accurate and information‐rich reporting. You will lead the end‐to‐end financial reporting while remaining hands‐on across statutory compliance, audit and management reporting. You're technically strong, CA/CPA qualified and you enjoy working closely with stakeholders, improving processes and strengthening financial controls in a practical, outcomes‐focused way. Reporting to the Director Corporate Services, you'll value their calm and supporting encouragement alongside the capable Corporate Services team.
You're motivated to contribute beyond compliance, partnering with others to provide meaningful insights that support informed decision‐making and improved organisational performance.
Based in vibrant Geelong, this is a great opportunity for those already living in the region or along the Southwestern corridor of Melbourne.
You are a CA or CPA‐qualified finance professional with demonstrated experience delivering high‐quality financial reporting within a mid‐sized or complex organisation. Technically strong and detail‐oriented, you combine sound judgement with commercial acumen and a proactive mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and support a small financial reporting team.
* Deliver accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
* Manage year‐end processes and external audit coordination.
* Ensure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards and legislative requirements.
* Support budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting.
* Identify and implement improvements across finance systems, reporting and controls.
What you bring:
* Strong technical knowledge of statutory reporting and compliance.
* Practical experience managing audits and year‐end reporting.
* Prior team leadership experience.
