Watercare Specialist
A watercare specialist is required to undertake planned maintenance and asset lifecycle replacement project works.
About the Role
The purpose of this role is to perform routine, urgent and ad-hoc maintenance, repairs and inspections on client premises and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Perform changeover/replacement works based on client's asset lifecycle program schedules at multiple facilities.
2. Urgent, routine & ad-hoc maintenance, repairs, inspections on client's premises and equipment as directed by management.
3. Work autonomously or in a team environment for large or small project works.
4. Undertake and record PRA, Job Safety Analysis prior to commencement of tasks.
5. Liaise closely with key stakeholders and staff to ensure they are aware of any disruption to services by any works undertaken.
6. Ensure effective Key Performance Indicators are managed effectively including response times, safety, compliance, and financial performance of all job numbers assigned.
Requirements
* You will be a self-motivated individual that can work in a team environment and autonomously with an ability to maintain tools and equipment, plant items and hired plant items.
* Flexible working hours as some sites may require afternoon or night works to be completed depending on the required task.
* Excellent eye for detail to ensure technical procedures and inspection test plans are performed safely and in accordance with Quality Assurance requirements.
Skills and Experience
* Relevant Trade Qualification / minimum 2 years' maintenance experience – Gasfitting licence, Gasfitting Type A appliances, water supply and domestic hot water.
* Maintenance experience in repairs of Rinnai instantaneous hot water systems, Rotex units, Zip hot water systems and pump systems is a must.
* Roofing/Guttering (storm water) registration – highly desired.
* Backflow registration – highly desired.
* Air Conditioning Licence – highly desired.
* Experience in fault finding and diagnosis.
* Construction Card.
* EWP Licence.
* Australian Police Clearance Check.
* Working with children's check.
* Valid Manual Driver's Licence.
* OH&S, Risk Management, Environmental Management or Quality Assurance systems.
* Own hand tools fit for purpose; specialised tools provided by company.
* Ability to work comfortably within a Maximum-Security correctional facility.
