About the Role
This leadership position plays a critical role in driving the Agency's compliance function, ensuring payment integrity and reducing potential fraud and non-compliance.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of leadership, control, planning, resource management, performance management, and decision making.
The role requires technical, professional, policy, operational support and advice in relation to complex problems.
The Aps6 Compliance Officer Team Leader coordinates and assists in the strategic planning, program and project management and policy development that supports the Agency's objectives.
The position has a considerable level of public contact in relation to complex, difficult or sensitive issues.
Responsibilities Include:
* Undertaking and managing complex and sensitive compliance reviews in accordance with Agency processes and legislation.
* Monitoring and reporting work output and quality against established performance standards through analysis and reporting to the Executive/s.
* Gathering evidence from a range of sources and preparing assessments and determinations.
