Job Summary
Experienced Hospital Speech Pathologist required for a 12‐month contract starting as soon as possible (ideally February or March). The position is based just two hours from Melbourne and will allow you to join a team of seven Speech Pathologists and Allied Health Assistants. The caseload consists of adults. It is a Grade 3 level role; experienced Grade 2 clinicians are also welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
* Assess and intervene with adult acute and sub‐acute/rehabilitation hospital populations.
* Manage adults with disorders of communication and swallowing within a hospital setting.
* Implement videofluoroscopy procedures – competency highly regarded.
* Provide team leadership, supervision and mentoring as part of a shared seniority structure.
* Engage in quality improvement initiatives.
