Dealership Administration Manager
About the Role:
This role involves overseeing various administrative functions in a dealership, including leadership and management of staff. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Australian automotive systems and excellent communication skills.
Main Responsibilities:
* Liaise with dealership staff to manage day-to-day operations.
* Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and manufacturer requirements.
* Process vehicle sales, registrations, wholesale/retail settlements, floorplan finance, and warranty claims.
* Manage data entry and reporting practices within the dealership management system (DMS).
* Support HR, payroll, and workplace compliance requirements.
* Provide executive management with accurate and timely reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Strong working knowledge of Australian DMS systems such as Auto IT or Pentana.
* High-level understanding of floorplan finance, accounting, and manufacturer reporting.
* Leadership experience with ability to build and develop a high-performing team.
* Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
