The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Community Disability Support Worker located in Huntly.
You will be responsible for supporting a customer with daily living tasks, helping them to live an independent and holistic life. Your work will be centred around the following:
* Providing support in everyday activities around the home
* Providing support with hygiene and personal care
* Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment
* Assisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication
* Meal assistance which may include meal preparation
Shifts:
We are offering the following shifts:
* Thursdays 5pm-7pm
* Thursdays 9pm-11pm
* Alternating Fridays 7.30am-10am
* Alternating Fridays 3pm-7pm
* Alternating Saturdays and Sundays 5pm-7pm
* Saturday 9pm-11pm
Requirements:
To be successful in this role you will need:
* A minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Individual Support
* At least one year of experience as a Disability Support Worker
* NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months) & National police clearance - or willingness to obtain
