The role:
The Technical Solutions Manager is responsible for overseeing technical product management for ESG and Sustainability solutions, focusing on the integration of digital platforms with third-party technologies. This role involves understanding sensor technology, monitoring systems, and reporting tools relevant to Scope 1 emissions in mobile mining equipment, as well as broader technologies for reducing environmental impacts across mining sites. Additionally, the ESG Technical Solutions Manager is tasked with fostering technical partnerships with third-party ESG ecosystem collaborators who leverage machine data to deliver value-added analytics for ESG-related digital solutions for customers and dealers.
**Responsibilities**:
- Work with the companies dealers and customers to understand technical requirements to inform GHG reduction/sustainability solution roadmap, and work with their Proof of Value (POV) team to plan testing with lead customers and dealers for initial early adopter versions of the branded ESG solutions and service offerings.
- Plan and Document requirements for capturing and securely sharing machine data and analytical insights (starting with mobile and fixed plant mining operations equipment, ERP and other data sources) between the companies stakeholders and 3rd party ecosystem partners.
- Evaluate and document technical capabilities of 3rd party solutions as part of the Proof of Value early adoption testing, CVC investment and M&A due diligence processes.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years Technical Product Management or related experience in ESG, Sustainabililty, GHG reduction
- Experience identifying and working with Industrial IoT and/or cloud based ecosystem partners including creation of APIs and technical planning for customer deployments around sustainability solutions
- Experience creating and delivering presentations to both technical and business audiences, including value proposition around ESG/Sustainability
- Previous experience with sustainability technologies and services for mining or similar industrial markets (e.g. oil and gas, transportation etc.)
- Fluency in English is a must, Japanese is a plusHow to Apply:
