We have a new opportunity in the National Engineering Team to take on the responsibility for engineering delivery across complex Formwork projects for our VIC market. This role will be based in Melbourne (Springvale). Key Responsibilities
Take ownership and deliver engineering solutions for complex Formwork projects, coach and mentor junior engineers and draftspeople, perform detailed structural computations for formwork and temporary works, ensure compliance with Australian Standards, communicate effectively, and drive cost‑effective designs. Required Qualifications
Degree in Structural/Civil Engineering Minimum 8 years of proven engineering experience, with significant portion in formwork design Eligibility for membership of the Institute of Engineers Australia Ability to coach & mentor junior engineers & draftspeople Proficiency in AutoCAD Proficiency using engineering design software packages (SpaceGass, Microstran or similar is essential) Preferred Qualifications
Chartered status (CPEng) highly regarded Experience using Autodesk REVIT desirable Able to perform detailed structural computations applied to the design of formwork and temporary works systems Effective communicator, problem‑solver and solutions‑generator High attention to detail, proactive team player, interested in career growth and development Ideal Candidate Profile
