The opportunity:
We're recruiting Cost Analysts to support Defence capability investment decision-making processes. You'll work within secretariat and advisory functions, developing cost models and financial analysis that inform senior leadership decisions on capability investments. This includes developing and maintaining cost models using Defence-approved tools (ACEIT, CTT, or similar platforms), conducting cost assurance and risk analysis for major capability investments, supporting the preparation of investment submissions and decision papers and preparing briefing materials for senior decision-making forums
What we're looking for:
Experience in financial modelling and cost estimation for Defence or complex government projects
Strong analytical and stakeholder coordination skills
Ability to support senior decision-making processes
Proficiency with cost modelling tools and Defence financial frameworks
Essential requirements: Active NV1 clearance | Canberra-based with on-site availability
