Cafe Served is more than just a coffee shop — it's a place where compassion is poured as generously as the coffee. Run by Servants of the Poor, a not-for-profit organisation committed to supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged people, Cafe Served uses all profits to fund life-changing community programs.
By volunteering with us, you'll not only gain practical café experience, you'll also be part of something bigger — creating connection, hope, and real change in people's lives.
Key Duties:
* Crafting and serving tea and coffee to customers with care and a friendly attitude
* Preparing simple, fresh food such as sandwiches, rolls, and salads, in line with Food Safety Standards
* Handling the cash register and POS system with accuracy and efficiency
* Keeping the café clean and tidy, including operating the dishwasher and cleaning food prep areas
* Assisting with stock control, including restocking shelves, fridges, and checking supplies
Experience in hospitality or food service is a bonus but not essential.

Training
Practical barista training will be provided. A certification pathway is offered based on your commitment.
Time required
The café is open 6 days a week:Monday to Friday, 5am to 2pmSaturday 6am to 1pm
