Overview

Access Psych offers qualified face-to-face and telehealth mental health support services to address a wide range of mental health issues and concerns. As part of the MedHealth group – a purpose-built collection of 22 health, medical and employment brands – and with more than 80 mental health clinicians, we deliver mental health support to meet the unique needs of individual clients and corporate customers Australia‑wide.

Job Description

We are looking for Psychologists registered with AHPRA (Provisional and General Psych) or Accredited Mental Health Social Workers – AASW – who can deliver authentic, compassionate, and dependable mental health support in a wide range of services including Workers Compensation Schemes, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) and Medicare clients.

This is a part-time role (1 to 4 days) and a hybrid position.


Responsibilities

* Provide evidence-based mental health training, assessment, and treatment to clients with a range of mental health conditions and outcome goals.
* Work collaboratively with clients, medical and allied health professionals, case managers and employers to assist people return to work and/or fully re-engage with the community.
* Complete assessments and interventions using your clinical skills.
* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organisational and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Joining our team of mental health professionals requires meeting the following mandatory requirements:

* General and Provisional Psychologist Registered with AHPRA; or
* Accredited Mental Health Social Worker – AASW;
* Willingness to obtain relevant accreditations including NSW State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) and WorkSafe Victoria accreditations;
* Permanent residency in Australia;
* Passion for improving lives through work and health;
* Desire to be part of a dynamic, social and hardworking team;
* Interest and willingness to work with workers compensation clients.
