Position Information Helensburgh Public School, located on Dharawal Country in the northern suburbs of Wollongong, is a dynamic and inclusive learning community with 486 students, 18 mainstream classes and two Multi-Categorical (MC) support classes. The school is committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based literacy and numeracy instruction, with a strong focus on collaborative professional learning, explicit teaching and differentiation. In 2026, the school will focus on embedding evidence-based pedagogy in reading comprehension and mathematics to support the growth and attainment of all learners. * Approval to teach Kindergarten to Year 6

* Demonstrated ability to implement effective classroom management strategies
Conditions An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
