At Capricorn, we’re looking for an enthusiastic and technically capable IT Service Desk Analyst to join our growing technology team. This is more than just a support role—you’ll be the go-to expert for resolving complex technical issues, improving systems, and delivering a seamless experience for our users.
You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy solving problems, collaborating across teams, and staying calm under pressure. Your ability to communicate clearly and empathetically will be just as important as your technical know-how.
What You’ll Do
* Tackle complex hardware and software issues with confidence and efficiency.
* Deliver exceptional support through clear communication and a user-first mindset.
* Manage incidents and service requests using ITSM tools, ensuring timely resolution and SLA compliance.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve systems and streamline processes.
* Contribute to major IT projects and support change initiatives.
* Maintain accurate documentation and build out knowledge base resources.
* Identify opportunities to enhance workflows and elevate the user experience.
* Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices.
What You’ll Bring
* Strong troubleshooting skills and a passion for problem-solving.
* Excellent communication and active listening abilities.
* Solid understanding of operating systems, software, networking, and hardware.
* Familiarity with IT service management tools and processes.
* A collaborative approach and the ability to work well under pressure.
* Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
Experience & Qualifications
* This is an entry-level role—prior experience is a bonus but not essential.
* A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
* Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or ITIL Foundation are highly regarded.
