Seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join a leading energy team tackling critical Pricing Remediation. Utilise your expertise to drive best offer compliance and pricing transformation within one of Australia's leading energy retailers.

THE ROLE
The Senior BA will join the team during an active phase of pricing remediation delivery for a leading energy company. The candidate will play a critical role in supporting product owners to analyse, validate, and remediate best offer calculations across the business.
The candidate must have excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders across a complex, multi‐team environment.
* Previous experience working within Australian retail energy pricing is highly regarded.
* Hands‐on experience with best offer calculations and pricing remediation is highly desired.
* Gather functional and non‐functional requirements across pricing and compliance domains.
* Conduct comprehensive business process modelling across remediation workstreams.
* Create business, software, and information‐level models using techniques such as BPMN, use cases, wireframes, and data modelling.
* Develop user stories based on your analysis.
* Facilitate workshops with product owners and diverse stakeholders across pricing, compliance, and technology teams.
* Maintain and update information in Jira and Confluence.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* High regard: Previous experience working with a major Australian energy retailer such as AGL, Origin Energy, or Energy Australia.
* Previous hands‐on experience with pricing remediation and best offer compliance programs.
* Strong understanding of retail energy tariff structures and pricing rules.
* Previous experience working closely with product owners in Agile delivery environments.
* Hybrid working model across both Agile and Waterfall projects.
* Strong requirement gathering, business process modelling, and user story development skills.
* Experience managing medium to large projects involving technology solutions and diverse stakeholders.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You must have full working rights in Australia and be based in Melbourne to be considered for this role.
