Senior Sales Representative - Medical Equipment
We are looking for an experienced Senior Sales Representative to join our growing team, helping individuals with disability and the elderly access the assistive equipment they need to live independently and with dignity.
In this role, you will manage and grow a portfolio of clients across the aged care and NDIS sectors, working closely with Occupational Therapists (OTs), case managers, support coordinators, and directly with participants and their families. You will be the trusted advisor who connects the right solution to the right person, every time.
Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with Occupational Therapists, case managers, and support coordinators who manage NDIS and aged care client claims.
Act as a trusted point of contact for clients, families, and allied health professionals throughout the equipment recommendation and approval process.
Conduct in-person visits to aged care facilities, disability support organisations, and private residences as required.
Sales & Business Development
Develop and execute a territory sales plan targeting key organisations such as aged care providers, disability support services, hospitals, and allied health practices.
Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Prepare accurate quotes, proposals, and tender responses for equipment and services.
Product Knowledge & Consultation
Maintain deep knowledge of assistive and mobility equipment including manual and power wheelchairs, pressure care products, seating and positioning aids, walking frames, hoists, and home modification equipment.
Claims & Funding Navigation
Liaise with support coordinators and plan managers to facilitate smooth equipment approvals and delivery.
What We're Looking For
Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a B2B or consultative sales role, ideally within assistive technology, medical equipment, disability services, or aged care
Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
Experience working with or selling to Occupational Therapists, case managers, or allied health professionals
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
High level of empathy, patience, and professionalism when engaging with elderly clients and people with disability
Current driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout your territory
